Artists

Charlies flat

Charlies Flat is a spacey fusion of dub, funky reggae and trip-hop.  Expect subby bass, bespoke beats, spacey chops and samples, creating dubwise heavy grooves with way too much echo!  Charlies Flat is led by Kellie Bennett, a WAAPA Conservatorium trained bass player. Her genre bending musical adventure draws on funk, world music, reggae, dub and trip hop.   Charlies Flat teams up with a talented bunch of collaborators.

The Springtones

The Springtones have a deep appreciation for vintage sounds, blending soulful vibes with stripped back dub edits and remixes, showcasing their passion for old records and dubby reverberations. Spearheaded by Clayton C, who also runs Cry No More Recordings with his partner Kellie B. The Springtones have released tracks on 7 inch vinyl and LP, also doing bespoke lathe cut reworks and youtube dub mixes.

Dubbin' Darryl

Dubbin' Darryl leans in to the funkier soul side of instrumental reggae and adds his unique musical touch on dubbed-out keys, organ and melodica. Straight outta the shed in Witchcliffe, South West Australia, Darryl likes to get heavy with an immersive wash of reverberant echoes over percolating percussion and slinky grooves.

Dad Bod Dub

Dad Bod Dub, Badman Dub from the Deep Dark Dirty South. Taking influence from dub music’s classic era and greats like King Tubby, Herman Chin Loy, Scientist, Lee Perry, Augustus Pablo, Roots Radics, The Upsetters , Morricone and classic western soundtrack music, psychedlia, funk and soul, Dad Bod Dub keep the groove heavy and the rhythm sweet.

Cry No More acknowledges the Whadjuk people, the traditional owners of the land we live on, we pay our respects to Whadjuk elders and Australian First Nations communities.
